Recently, the "3rd National Forestry and Grassland Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals" sponsored by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration issued a notice of winning. The"Construction and promotion of the three-dimensional circulation model of 'forest-bacteria-cicada'", under the guidance of Dr.Zhang Dapeng,Dr.Zhang Zhongfeng and Dr.Wang Xinhong from the School of Forestry Engineering, declared by Wang Yu, Liu Yang, Li Ruixue and Zhang Zeyun, majoring inForest Protection and Landscape Architecture, won the third place (silver award) in the "proposition group", and Dr.Zhang Dapeng won the Outstanding Instructor Award.
This competition is hosted by the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and jointly organized by more than 10 units including the Science and Technology Department of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Talent Development and Exchange Center of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, and the China Forestry Industry Union. There are four categories of entries in the competition: university group, vocational college group, social group and proposition group. More than 1,000 entries from more than 200 units across the country have been submitted. Our school applied for the program of the proposition group. After the preliminary online selection, 59 programs were selected to participate in the national semi-finals. After the national semi-finals, 21 programs were selected to enter the national finals. After fierce competition, 10 programs from 8 units including Beijing Forestry University, Tongji Architectural Design(Group), Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University won the Gold Award (1), Silver Award (2), Bronze Award (3), and Excellence Award (4).
The theme of this competition is "Integrate landscapes with wisdom, create win-win through green concept", and deeply implement the development concept of General Secretary Xi Jinping "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". By participating in the competition, the innovation and entrepreneurship awareness of our students has been enhanced, and the entrepreneurial enthusiasm to use new technologies, new products, new processes, new technologies, new formats, and new models have been further stimulated. It has helped the entrepreneurial enthusiasm of rural revitalization and demonstrated the fine spirit of the students of SDAEU.
