Recently, the 2020 Shandong College Students Outstanding Science and Technology Association and Cadre Selection, jointly launched by the Association for Science and Technology of Shandong, the Department of Education of Shandong, the Committee of Communist Youth League of Shandong, the Development and Reform Commission of Shandong, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong, and the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Shandong, was ended. After selection, recommendation and rigorous review, the Food Nutrition and Technology Association of our school was rated as the "Outstanding Science and Technology Association for College Students in Shandong in 2020", Yuan Xinlei, Vice President of this association, and Qiao Dazhuang, the head of the Engineering Innovation Association, were awardedthe honorary title of “Shandong College Students Outstanding Science and Technology Association Cadre in 2020”.

The Food Nutrition and Technology Association is a professional society organized by the School of Food Science and Engineering under the guidance of the Youth League Committee of SDAEU. Founded in 2015, the association is a professional science and technology association integrating innovation and entrepreneurship practice, popular science promotion, public welfare practice, and subject competitions. The association independently researches and develops more than 50 new foods and 3 incubation projects; under the leadership of the instructor Chen Yuhang, it compiled a 250,000-word "Family Nutrition and Health Guidance Manual", which was co-sponsored published in 2017 by the Jinan Science Association and Jinan Public Nutritionist Association;I t actively carried out summer social activities of "Volunteer Activities for the Country People", was awarded the provincial outstanding social practice team for 5 consecutive years, and its activities were widely reported by social media; since the organization of the food innovation design competition in 2019, there have been two sessions, generated 2 provincial-level first prizes for innovation and entrepreneurship, 1 second prize and 1 third prize each. This is the second time that the association has won the honorary title of "Outstanding Science and Technology Association for College Students in Shandong".

In the future, the Youth League Committee of SDAEU will train service-oriented talents, further strengthen the guidance of college student associations, cultivate a group of influential brand associations and association brand projects, build a platform for students' extracurricular scientific and technological and cultural activities, and improve students' comprehensive quality,continuously promote the construction and development of campus culture.
